The group looked at sensing in different ways, and one more interesting concept was looking at vibrations found within the human body. Interestingly, in this project, heart rate could be detected using a piezoelectric element by monitoring vibrations in the body.
As a group, we considered using this form of input to potentially control sound within our interactive device project or to use the heartbeat as a metronome, however we did not have any piezoelectric sounders in the lab, therefore we could not investigate using this form of input on the device.
